Is there a bone marrow registry in Sudan?

For people who live in Sudan. Live somewhere else? Find your country.

As of , we haven’t found enough to verify a way to join from Sudan yet. That doesn’t mean there isn’t one. The only sign of transplant plans we found in Sudan is a July 2022 report, published by EpiNews, that Aliaa Specialized Hospital in Khartoum was preparing to start bone marrow transplants; we found nothing since, and Sudan’s health ministry site wouldn’t load. 11

Can people in Sudan join a registry abroad?

South Africa’s two registries take only people who live in South Africa: on Oct 11, 2026, DKMS Africa’s form asked first whether you live there, and SABMR excluded anyone not living there, so people in Sudan can’t join either from home. 1 2
