One Match Can Save A Life Like Jada's

Jada was one month old when she was diagnosed with leukemia. A stranger in Germany saved her life. We're working to help more patients find their match.

Registration is free and takes about 10 minutes. You'll receive a cheek swab kit by mail.

Why Donor Registration Matters

For many patients with blood cancers, a bone marrow transplant is their best chance at survival. The more people on the registry, the more lives we can save.

3 min

A Diagnosis Every 3 Minutes

Every 3 minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with a blood cancer. Many will need a bone marrow transplant to survive.

70%

No Family Match

70% of patients cannot find a matching donor in their family. They depend on strangers who joined the registry.

29%

The Diversity Gap

Patients from diverse backgrounds have a much harder time finding matches. More donors from all communities are needed.

Low Odds of Being Called

Most registry members are never called. But if you are matched, you could be the only person in the world who can save that life.

Jada Bascom, bone marrow transplant survivor

Since 2009

Jada's Gift of Life

At one month old, Jada Bascom was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Her family searched desperately for a bone marrow match. Out of 11 million people on the registry, one man in Germany was her perfect match.

Jada received her transplant at seven months old. Today, she's a healthy teenager—cancer-free. Her grandmother, Jeana Moore, founded this organization in 2009 to help other families find their miracle.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we focus on three goals:

  • Raising awareness about the need for bone marrow donors
  • Recruiting donors through registration drives and community outreach
  • Helping cover the cost of tissue typing for new donors
