As of , we haven’t found enough to verify a way to join from Bahrain yet. That doesn’t mean there isn’t one. Bahrain’s Ministry of Health lets citizens and residents aged 21 and over pledge organ donation online on bahrain.bh, and bone marrow is one of the donation types they can choose. 1

Has Bahrain announced a registry or a law?
In February 2025, Bahrain’s Ministry of Health announced its upgraded online organ donation registration, which lists bone marrow among the donation types people can pledge; it didn’t say pledgers would be tissue-typed for patients. 1
Doctors at Salmaniya Medical Complex, Bahrain’s Ministry of Health hospital, recommended a national Bahrain registry and a regional Eastern Mediterranean stem cell bank in a 2021 study, after typing 294 relatives of 100 patients and finding a fully matched family donor for half. 8
