On Oct 11, 2026, the SPIROSKI foundation registry in North Macedonia offered an online form to request a cheek-swab pack by post for people aged 18 to 55, who stay on its register until they turn 61. 4

North Macedonia’s 2026 transplant program, published on Feb 27, 2026, aims to increase unrelated and half-matched stem cell transplants, and pays the yearly license for the Prometheus software behind the national volunteer donor registry and yearly memberships of the European group for blood and marrow transplantation and the World Marrow Donor Association. 6

North Macedonia’s 2026 program pays a one-time yearly bonus to the stem cell transplant team of the University Clinic of Hematology and the Institute of Immunobiology and Human Genetics, 25,000 denars net for each specialist doctor, once the year’s 20th transplant is done. 6
