Is there a bone marrow registry in Laos?

For people who live in Laos. Live somewhere else? Find your country.

As of , we haven’t found a bone marrow donor registry that people who live in Laos can join. That doesn’t mean there isn’t one. The Lao Red Cross lists blood donation among its core work, but its website says nothing about signing up stem cell or marrow donors, and Laos’s Ministry of Health website didn’t load on Oct 11 or Oct 15, 2026. 1

Can people in Laos join a registry abroad?

On Oct 15, 2026, the Thai Red Cross signed up stem cell donors only in person at its 10 blood centers in Thailand, on the day they give blood, and printed no nationality or residence rule, so there is no way to join Thailand’s registry from Laos. 2 3
